Beyond the Runway: Nolcha x Shao New York This season, we went beyond the traditional runway — bringing Nolcha’s legacy of immersive production and crypto-culture storytelling into the fashion world.

At Artechouse New York, an interactive art museum in Chelsea, we produced Shao New York’s Spring/Summer 2026 runway show, “Futures of the Past: Chrome Legacy.”

With over 15 years of experience working with fashion designers, Shao stands out for her extraordinary attention to detail and visionary approach — her creativity is truly beyond her years. It was an honor to collaborate on this remarkable project.

The presentation transformed the gallery’s white walls into a futuristic dreamscape, with projections of a half-human, half-robotic head pulsating across the space — merging art, fashion, and technology into one living installation.

The collection redefined modern modesty and futurism through unexpected color palettes, geometric patterns, and gender-fluid silhouettes.

Designer Yang Shao explored the tension between tradition and innovation — illustrating how the legacy of modern dress continues to evolve in a technologically driven world.
